lyrics by Jehu P. Cayaon, Sr., music by Engr. Sergio S. Tapalla
I
(I want to tell you about us Kagayanen.)
Di’ ba ate an na ambal ta una dili masulat, dili man mabasa?
(Isn’t it so that previously our mother-tongue couldn’t be written, also couldn’t be read?)
II
(Because of the Kagayanen Bible out language has been studied.)
Nyan na masulat daw mabasa man en ate i na ambal na Kagayanen.
(That’s why Kagayanen, our mother-tongue, now can be written and read as well.)
Refrain
(O my fellow-towns’-people, let’s truly give thanks to the Lord.)
Pulong Ta Dyos, Biblia na Kagayanen, batunon ta na terek ta tagipusuon.
(Let’s receive the Word Of God, the Kagayanen Bible, deep in our hearts.)
Palanggaen ta gid daw basaen.
(Let’s truly cherish it and read it.)
(Better yet is that we obey it.)
III
(Kagayanen leaders, they have met-&conferred-together and cooperated)
(so that our celebration of our Kagayanen Bible will be joyous.)
IV
Bisan indi ki anduni magpunta mga Kagayanen an gaisya.
(Wherever we go nowadays Kagayanens are united.)
(Our fellow-towns’-people are having fiestas celebrating our Bible.)
V
(There are many visitors from other towns that will arrive.)
(Also from many from other nations in order to see the celebrations.)
